Funding Available to Help Volunteer Fire Companies Battle Wildfires "Spring’s warming temperatures, sunny days, and strong winds all combine to usher in wildfire dangers that emphasize the value of having well-trained and well-equipped local firefighting forces in rural areas,” Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Secretary Cindy Adams Dunn said. “Pennsylvania’s volunteer firefighters deserve the very best training and equipment, and these grants help them obtain both.”

Real ID in Pennsylvania Beginning October 1, 2020, Pennsylvanians will need a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license, photo ID card, or another form of federally-acceptable identification (such as a valid passport or military ID) to board a domestic commercial flight or enter a federal building or military installation that requires ID.
