Reading Township Residents may bring items for disposal to the Reading Township Building, 50 Church Road, East Berlin. Free permits are required from the Township Office Monday-Thursday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and Friday 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Proof of residency or homeownership is required. Only one pick-up truck load or 5x7 utility trailer allowed per household. Small materials must be boxed or bundled. Accepted Items : Household items and appliances with doors removed from freezers & refrigerators, wire fencing and batteries. Tires may be on rims and paid at drop off:$5.00 and off the rims at $3.00 up to 18" maximum size. No cement, roofing materials, brush or tree limbs, tires over 18" or items for regular trash collection.
