Adams County Historic Sites Survey

An important step in any planning process is identifying the key characteristics and assets of the community.  Adams County has an abundance of prominent national historic resources, but there are also many resources with local historical value whose significance goes relatively unknown.  Adams County Office of Planning and Development would like to invite you to share your knowledge about the historic sites around the County, and identify places within the County that are important to you.

We have created a survey map to accommodate the wealth of historic resources in Adams County. If you would like to contribute to the map project, follow the links below to be directed to a page where you will be asked to enter basic information, leave a brief description, and even add historic or current pictures (optional). While you're here, take some time to explore the information and photos provided by fellow Adams County residents!

*Please note that the collection of this information is not a comprehensive, or official, Historic Site Survey. The information gathered is being shared with local historic organizations and municipalities.
