Protection from Abuse Self Help Packet

The​ following forms are available if you do not wish to hire an attorney and want to file for a Protection Order on your own.

However, you do not have to file for an Order alone. Specially trained advocates are available to help you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at no cost to you.

You may speak to an advocate today by calling:

Adams County Victim/Witness Office: (717) 337-9844, Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; After Hours or On Weekends, call the Department of Emergency Services at 717-334-8101 or 717-624-2101 and ask for the on-call victim/witness adovcate to be paged

If you do wish to proceed on your own, please bring the forms below to the Victim/Witness Assistance Program, located on the third floor of the Adams County Courthouse. Someone is available to assist you during regular business hours, Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM (excluding holidays when the Courthouse is closed).
