ACACC is resuming modified operations. Professional visitors may resume contact visitation immediately. The Lobby will be reopened on Monday, July 25, 2022 for public visitation. All requirements posted from April 13, 2022 will be in effect.

April 13, 2022

  • The Adams County Adult Correctional Complex will be resuming normal operations for Public and Professional visiting on a modified schedule effective Monday, April 18, 2022. The Lobby will be open Monday through Friday from 0700 hours until 1500 hours. Both public and professional visits will occur during those hours. An update visitation schedule will be posted with this information. Please ask the individual you are visiting for their housing assignment to determine what day and time their visit is scheduled for.

  • All visitors over the age of two (2) shall be required to wear a mask when inside the facility. Access will be denied and/or revoked for anyone over the age of two (2) who does not have a mask, refuses to wear a mask, or wears the mask improperly while inside the facility. The facility’s staff is not permitted to make decisions related to exemptions and/or accommodations. All visitors are expected to follow the same safety guidelines. Any visitor who is observed displaying signs/symptoms of COVID-19 will be asked to leave the facility. Reasonable attempts will be made to ensure social distancing and enhanced cleaning/disinfecting will continue to occur.

  • For the safety of our inmate population and staff, inmates who have not cleared the initial quarantine period will not be eligible for visitation. 

  • Professional visits will resume on a first come, first serve basis Monday through Friday from 0700 hours – 1500 hours. Requests for professional visits outside of those hours must be scheduled, at least 24 hours in advance, through Captain Darrell Smith. He can be reached at For after hour or emergency requests, please call the facility at 717-334-7671 and ask to speak with the Shift Commander. 

  • Please be patient with the ACACC Lobby staff as there may be processing delays caused by their efforts to maintain cleanliness, social distancing, and safety inside the Lobby area. We thank you in advance for your cooperation as we work to safely reopen the facility.
